Come on spring!

My new house has two...count em...TWO mantels!! I am one lucky gal! Here is my mantel for spring and summer in the basement. 

Yay...it's pretty cute. I wonder when my bird obsession is going to end? We are going on 6 years of loving all things birds!

On another note...the builder painted the wall above both my mantels this boring putty color.  Thoughts on a different color?

Fall is here!!

Pumpkin bread is in the oven, a crisp breeze is coming through my kitchen window, the sun is lower in the sky.  Yes! Time to pull out the fall decor bins!
